The ancient song
I am having a most excellent day! Made it on time to class, with time to print out my latest newswriting asignment. Classes have let out early. And I’ve had the world’s happiest screensaver on repeat in my brain… a cute lil ssaver from a comic called
Reality Check.
Mmm, I’ve been skipping aikido latly, because, unhappily, my ankle is sore and tight and wierd. I really don’t wanna injure myself, but ack, I wanna go to aikido.
Time has really been moving past me. Flying past me like the comic book Flash. But the autumn I find myself in is a beautiful collage of scents and visions. Visions of fire and gold hanging in the skies, painting the air amaze me. Natural fireworks suspend my breathing more than most anything. I am LOOKING at everything with high scrutiny. It’s wonderful to be in love in autumn. Love gives you super vision I’ve found, every leaf shines like gold. I want to take in everything I see, surround myself in a cloak of woven leaves. Autumn is an ancient song that sings of the best fantasy adventures about to take hold. (I can almost see the Fall-dragons hiding in the piles of leaves which form their coats…)
And the wind is lovly this year…
