Masters of the Web
>Yawn<
Well folks, it's been more than a week since I've
written here in Onestep. However, some things were
added last week.
As well as some extra picts that are really big, for autumn
Wow, What a weekend! How much fun can five Web Developers have?
We participated in the Masters of the Web
Contest! We had 24 hours to design, code, photoshop, and upload a site for the charity organization STARBRIGHT.
STARBRIGHT is a super cool foundation that connects terminally and seriously ill kids and parents through special computers and programs. We had the choice of making either a site for kids or parents. After a short discussion about how everyone else would be more likely to choose the kids site and do it up crayon like, we decided to go the parents route.
I was so amazed, it was so awesome, we burned through 2 cases of mountain dew, we
ate pizza, we designed, we argued, we lost Dan(‘I’ll be back in a few’) for several hours, we
got back on track, we focused. Wore silly hats, sang silly songs.
And then, it got really really quite and we booked everything in last min.
The design clicked, the files clicked, the code clicked
We clicked. And Everything got done, at the very last second.
Here is what we came up with! STARBRIGHT Parent Resources
In other news, it appears that I am finally getting over this horrible cold. There lingers the last vestiges of a weeklong ordeal of the health.
Hopefully I’ll be all better for the next weekend. I miss Boy SOOOO much!
Eergh. Also, I am slowly working through all my backlog of stuff I’ve missed because of being sick and ect. I hope my teachers are understanding, and whoop! I have two tests this week! I’ll make it through… If we can do a website in 24hours then I can do anything, right?
