So, I went to aikido tonight, and it felt really good. It’s strange to be working on on real canvas mats, but nice. Definitely better than working on wrestling mats, (those come equipped with icky wrestler sweat and who knows what else
they leave, Ick!).

I cut, paste, found and replaced a lot of html today. Formatting text into html.
It’s slow going, even though I’m getting a lot done at work. I am reveling in the
amazing qualities of CSS. I really hope they have a place for me to work there after I graduate.


Well then, around here, I made a whole bunch of updates to Quixmix.

oh, oh, oh! It’s so cool, I’ve been exercising before work every morning, and I can see results!
woo! woo! woo! bet you can tell I’m excited. I am so psyched to get in shape. It’s been so long
since I’ve been in semblance of shape. All this sitting in front of monitors here and there does not a hot posterior make.

I’d like to take a moment and write about how happy i am this summer.
I have a great job, a great guy and a lot of great things happening in my life. I’m so content that when Boy asked me what I wanted for my birthday (aug 24th) I honestly had trouble coming up with something. (don’t worry, i’m sure something’ll come to me.)

but the truth is this. After a long happy productive day at sonicfoundry, and an hour or so at aikido, I was pleasantly content. With pretty much everything.

I just gotta graduate, just gotta finish. and then! days of adventure and amazament…

It seems i’m getting the opportunities to work with some really fun things, woo! It’s great
to have a job I can love!

ok, this is dated for tommorrow, I’m exhausted (it takes a lot of energy to be this happy!)

eer the day after tommorrow, the actual date should be the..eer 14th.. oh whatever, I’m outta it…

and prolly a bit sick, so i’m gonna turn in a bit early, and sleep through my exercise tommorrow. Who knows what tommorrow may bring, but I’m gonna be ready for it.

Ok, I’m kidding, it’s on my leg… in pen. Boy is so talented! I dropped by his place after work today, and he turned my leg into canvas as we watched tv and talked about jobs. It’s so nice to be able to ‘drop by’ whenever I want this summer. BTW, it was raining sideways when I got off of work, I practically rowed myself home in my firebird, sigh. What a mess, my wipers weren’t
going fast enough, and huge waves of water kept going up over my car. >shudder<
I made it about halfway, to Boy's apartment, it was too hair raising to drive in rainblind conditions during the end of rush hour.

I had an awesome time this weekend with the girls, we talked and laughed, ordered dresses and cooked out by tiki-torch light in Wendy’s mosquito infested back yard. It’s so nice that 3 of 4 freaks will be all together for this summer.


It’s so nice to have girlfriends. We went shopping, and the Beautiful Freak tried on clothes that I wouldn’t dare to (of course they could only augment her beauty), and Heidi got her hair permed,(which looks Tres, Tres cool!!!)


I’ve been meaning to change the look of these pages since I put them up, they were never
supposed to be more than temporary, with the background and the graphics from the main page
slapped onto pages down a layer. We’ll have to see how this evolves, but … It’s a nice change, ne?



Well, I’m off to Boy’s for a bit, you all have a great night!

Dad has diabetes,
I don’t really understand what that means, only that it’s bad, and Mom is upset, and that I am very prone to get it, because Dad has it, and so did his dad.


Now my exercising becomes not oly a good idea and a nice sentiment, it becomes a fight for my life. I have to get this weight off, I have to get in shape…

I try on bridesmaid dresses tommorrow with wendy and blythe for heidi’s october wedding.


Boy and I saw “Pushing Tin” tonight with John Cusack. Cusack was cute,the movie was too stressful and intense to watch, and uncomfortable, dealt with some adultary, blech, I’m such a fiercely loyal creature it made me sick.

I started to update this thing last week, at a late hour, and hit some silly button and got
rid of the whole thing. And because it is late now, and I am tired, I am going to give a brief recap.



Work is awesome, the people are awesome, the building is awesome, they had me set up my own (new) computer when I got there. And they put me on a project that let me do some fun things!



I’ve found some webguys to go eat lunch with, AND Heidi
Is working two blocks away from me!, Woo! We had lunch today in the cool coffee shop that
is on the first floor of the building where I work. I work in an old industrial brick building
that still proclaims in fading white paint that it is a Candy Company.



Speaking of lunch, not only does the coffee shop have awesome tuna croissants, but the food nearby is great too!

I’ve eaten jamacian style food as well as tibetan this week. It’s great to be back near a decent city again.



Also, I’ve been working out at the club before work. According to my mother, If I keep this up
I will be ‘svelte by october’ woo!



In other news, Dan is closing the house soon, and I’ll need to go back to help out with some things.
I’m all excited though, because it’ll be great to move back to school into a house(with Dan,Jess and Ace), instead of the dorms for my final year.



Well, that’s my way cool update.
I’ll see what I can do about updating more regularly, things are starting to settle into patterns.
