Ok, quick update, I’m alive!!! Still unpacking, my waterbed needs some work before I can actually sleep on it, my room is covered in balloons (280, blown up for my 21st birthday(tues) by housemates). A whole week of training is over.
Woo. things are moving fast, sonic still wants me to work very part time during the semester, so that’s great.
Ar, I’m sitting in the helpdesk/web, waiting for lunchtime, there are not enough computers for the webbies here, I was supposed to get a new g3 from resnet, but apparently that’s not happening, sigh, there was some talk of an upgrade kit, but the computer is nowhere to be found anyway something broke a couple weeks ago and they sent it off and it hasn’t come back…
This is the computer that a previous worker had swapped cases, among other things to it.
Sigh.
The new house is nice, I’m already missing Boy, and Heidi
though profusely apologizing, forgot to come down on my birthday to drink with me. ah well. We’ll go out another time.

I am lying on my bed, my socks don’t match.
This is a problem because the amount of clean unmatched socks has grown to absurd numbers.
Boy is sitting at my computer, yelling at the preseason football game. Correction, boy just left. Josie,my dog,keeps trying to lick my hand as I ‘type this’ on my new palm IIIx.
These are the last days of my summer. I am certain this has been my best summer ever. Both Boy and Heidi have been nearby, and I have found that elusive job that you actually enjoy working at. It’s hard to leave sonic, but also difficult to realize that this will be my last semester.
It has taken almost 21 years for me to recognize these bittersweet emotions as the aftertastes of childhood.

Last week was our 1 year anniversary(Aug 10th), we got back together last year, the week after GenCon. He makes me so complete, so satisfied, so happy.
I’m glad that I met him, so long long ago. He surprised me with some old logs of our creative endevors from our bbs days(they are dated around 94)–I was so surprised and overwhelmed that I cried, I hadn’t thought that anyone had kept any of those sort of things. It was like being given back a piece of myself(who I was) and him.
SUPEREXCITINGNEWS:
Heidi just got hired by Sonic!!! as a web designer,
so… hopefully after I graduate in december we’ll finally be able to work together at such
an awesome place, doing web stuff! Way to go Freak!
A little jaunt to platt is scheduled for tommorrow, I’d better get to bed.
