Dreaming the Impossible Dream since 1997

Itza new year

January21

Once again, much time has passed. Much has happened in that passed time.
this is the last day of my third week of full time work at HHREF="http://www.sonicfoundry.com">Sonic Foundry.

This week I signed a lease for an awesome apartment, and I didn’t have to
have my parents cosign, yah! It’s a nice place too, it has its own
washer, dryer, dishwasher, and garage. This week my kick-butt computer is
all but finished, except for the fact that the guys who are putting it
together are having some issues getting ahold of my awesome HREF="http://americas.creative.com/graphics/3db-annihilator/">video
card.

I’ve been organizing things from my parents basement and my room
at home, as well as making several trips to Platteville to pick up more
items from Dan’s place.

My mother threw another Graduation party, for people local to Madison, and
I had soo many nice people come, I was astounded. It’s neat that so many
people were interested in my schooling. It was strange to have a party
with so many people that I had to flit here and there, talking to people
about them, me, apartments, jobs and such. I couldn’t talk with any one
person until practically everyone had left. But it was a lot of
fun.

New Years party at Carlo’s went very
well too, there was a good number of people who showed up, and we had a
blast. Mark sat up on a ledge over the front door and sernaded himself in
spanish on his guitar for most of the night. Doug brought over several
bottles of champange, of the same type that we had at Chris and Jenny’s
wedding.(Creating the most interesting never-empty champange
glasses). Josh and Lance talked video games, lotsa of people played video
games. And Doug and I and everyone from Platteville stayed over and had
breakfast together at Chez Carlo. Another very great party.

Christmas was also very nice, good family time. I got my elph2 camara I’d
been pining for all year, and some other really nice things.

Other than the big things, some routine is beggining to be established. I
exercise in the mornings before work, go to work, tuesday nights are HREF="http://buffy.com/">Buffy/Angel nights with HREF="http://www.delusional.com">Heidi, I spend a good deal of time
with Carlo, as well as time at home.

It is so nice to be graduated, my official transcript arrived this week
too. Classes start on monday for everyone still in school, but I don’t
have to go back. I don’t have papers I should be doing, or classes I’m
dreading. It’s a very very nice feeling. I’m a lot more calm lately, the
stress level is way down low. And I know, this is going to be a great
year.

Welcome to the New Year, btw

Stacie
