Yah! it’s moving day!

Finally time to move into my new apartment.

I picked up my new computer last night, and HREF="http://www.novicius.com">Boy
bought me the Half Life Adrenaline pack. The computer is going
to need some tweaking, the dvd doesn’t work yet, and while
half life was moving pretty fast, it didn’t seem to be utilyzing my
shiny new HREF="http://www.guillemot.com/northamerica/main/products/3d_prophet/index.shtml">video
card.(Its a prophet, not an annihilator, but same chipset, and it has
a tv out!!)

I am horridly sick. My head hurts, I’m all congested and achey.

My mom is having half empty nest syndrome(I have a younger brother), which
wavers from tears to scolding me about money matters.


Right now, I’m sitting here at work, waiting for my check, so I can
deposit
it and have enough in my account to write my first rent check.


This is not how I envisioned today to be.


Carlo has the day off today, so at least I’ll have help, and companionship
today, but it’s almost 11 oclock, and I really want to be out of the
office.



Tommorrow we go pick up my bed in platteville, and tommorrow night I’m
supposed
to eat dinner with Carlo’s father(first time ever) I truely hope I am
feeling
better by then. Carlo and I have been dating for more than 2 years and
I’ve never
been invited to ‘eat dinner’ with his father.


Still, I’m incredibly excited. Tonight the cable and cable modem guys are
supposed
come and visit me, and I’ll finally be hooked up on a decent connection at
home.
I’m .8 miles too far to get dsl, but cable modem should be nice anyway,
and they
say they are giving me a a free webcam, how cool is that?


I can’t wait, to go, home. >big grin<
