Wow, I had a great time this weekend, Friday night I headed over to Kim & maciek’s for anime night, got to see some more crest of stars, and the spriggan movie. You should really check out their online comic it really rocks! You can find it here. They update a whole chapter each month, and have some great characters.


It was so beautiful outside both friday & saturday, I managed to get in a little walk before anime, the sun and breeze coming in off the lake was intoxicating. There are so many really neat houses down by the lake, all packed in pretty close, but some of them are outstanding, look like they should be in california, with adobe walls and rounded doors, and others are made of stone and glass. Places with real character, I hope I can find a house as pretty as some of those.


Saturday was an action packed day.
Nancy was in town and we tried to get as much madison in for her as possible. Wasabi sushi for lunch on state street, spiderman at the star cinema, and kareoke at the kareoke kid with aaron, one of our previous co workers.


I sang Hit me with your best shot, and Diana Kralls Peel me a grape, I got kudos, high fives and a mini fan club for both. Blew my voice out with Love shack later, singin with Nancy, they lost our song for soo long, we must have waited for 45 min before it came up. is so cute, she was so excited to be there, but had a hard time deciding what to sing. We had a great time anyway. Hoarse and tipsy Aaron suggested we head on up to Paul’s club. which is a really fantastic bar near the capital, it has Trees! inside, decked out with white christmas lights, looking very magical. We had a good time, had some kamakazis, Nancy and I coached Aaron through some dating/pickup hints. heh. funny.


Still, a very good weekend.
