eee, so late, and yet, the first few minutes of our anniversary… I have a second interview today, so I’d better get to sleep soon, but before I retire…



I love my husband, I love geeking out with him over video games, I love the things we do with each other, to each other, for each other. Such a funny thing, life, that we would meet online, before the advent of the world wide web, and that what I thought was only a crush turned out to be something so much more.



The wedding last year was a whirlwind, so much planning, worrying, spending… This year has been so much more relaxed, we’ve been able to live our lives together, still learning about each other, learning how to work together. There is no one else who understands me the way he does, he really is my best friend, my favorite playmate, my true heart. I am still so unbelievably in love with him, I can still feel the love inside me, almost a physical thing, though more mature than those first fires of interaction when we knew love was real. Then it was a star, burning in my chest, hot and bright, and oh so delicate. Now, the love feels more like a plant, like that star was the seed burrowing its way to my core, and a year’s worth of growth has occurred. A vine flowering around my beating heart. Stable, and well seated, intertwined in my life, just like he is.



I never want to lose this feeling. We have many years left before we grow old together, many joys, trials, tears, laughter. I want to have it all with him beside me. Happy anniversary, beloved. I love you.

Feeling a bit better today, my parents took us out to applebees (that bourbon steak tastes strange, what spice tastes like flowers?) and out to see minority report. A, ‘you didn’t get the job’ celebration.

Today the proto-incipient canton of wolfhome is having a demo in monroe, ee, I’d better get suited up, heh.


for what it’s worth here’s me at the last event i went to. Cheap camera had troubles in the dark warehouse.. only a few pics came out, I tried to fix this one a bit in photoshop. Don’t see much of the outfit here, but I made it all! and it has a cute little blue overskirty thing. I’ll try to get a better pic of it today.

I’m a bit down, this joblessness is draining, emotionally.



I feel quiet, internally. hard to explain. Like, I’m down, but also relieved, the web position with the bank people was filled by someone else. It seemed fun, but ultimately, it’s nice to have an answer.

so… wait to hear from the cow sperm people. (no joke, welcome to wisconsin)



and next week i’ll set up that interview with the tech school people, a teaching position might be neat.



I still have prospects, just..



Next week is our one year anniversary, and I’d really like to celebrate also being employed…

I had a pleasant interview with another company, position similar to my last job, in charge of several sites, only web dev person, redesign main page type stuff. people were very nice, and its a location very close to home, and I’m very qualified :).



went to look at a new place to live, don’t know if we’ll get it, but it’s very nice.

still waiting to hear about interview from last week, I called this wednesday and they were waiting on paperwork from some of the other applicants. I’m willing to wait and see. it’d be a lot of fun and work, though farther from where I live, but not as far as the old job.

Nice to have a couple prospects, it’s all in God’s hands now. I’m pretty sure he has a better perspective than I do about all this.



I’m soo tired, time to snooze

The interview on monday went well, I should hear back about it early next week. I hope they choose me, because, well, I choose them, really like the opportunities and technologies, we’ll just have wait and see.

I went fathers day shopping, and then kinda general mall shopping, (for 4 hours) today, ee! Legs and feet hurt, I wore my sandles which are good for little jaunts but not major walks. Picked up this super cool necklace, pictures later, perhaps.

Anyway, checked my email late and another company wants me to come in for an interview, yah! and this one is quite close to where we live, which would be nice. It’s cow related… moo

Anime night tonight, yah! no more walking!

I have a second interview with that place that I had the good phone interview with last week! Next monday is the day of celebration. Well, at least another interview. Feel really good about it though.


I got a haircut today, yah! With my favorite hairdresser!


My husband and I took a walk tonight around 8:30, in the misting rain. We walked around the reserve/park, everything smelled clean, green. And, in the twilight, it was magical, everything with soft edges and glowy.


Morrowind, finally, finally comes out tommorrow. It’s a promising Xbox RPG, and we’ve had it paid off for over 2 months, so, when they give us the ring, all we have to do is waltz in and pick it up, yah!
