Knight of the Old Republic==so worth the money
The character designs are great, the voices make the characters really feel real(and the whole game is voiced, except your character), and the story rocks! Go buy this now!

It’s wonderful really. Interesting how things can be different depending on how you play or what class you take. I’m sucked in, this is beautiful, it’s hard to put down, because you keep learning cool stuff, or doing cool stuff, and just when you think you can take a break, say to eat, or use the bathroom, some more cool stuff comes up and you’re trapped for another hour.

My character is Seraya Chan, the scoundrel, and soon to be Padawan. I have double blades, and have maxxed out the two-weapon fighting feats.

The combat in this game is so amazing. You don’t click a button to swing or block, the computer does that for you, but you can choose what action you’d like to do next, and can cue your party members too, and it all plays out cinematically!

When the baddies shoot you and miss, you see the shots flung wide, or hit the floor in front of you, you see your character duck and dodge, you’ll see the block/parry slice.

The mini-games are fun! pachakk cards are great, swoopracing is speedy, and the turret shooting is pretty crazy.

Sorry this is a bit disjointed, perhaps I’ll make it more coherent later.

This game feels like Star Wars, and so far, the plot seems worlds better than the latest 2 SW movies. This is a story you care about, and it is good.

Also, don’t be intimidated by the d20 stuff. The game will suggest what skills and feats you may wish to take, or you can press a button to have it apply the standards when you level up. Or, like my husband and I, you can go in depth and make choices to tailor your character feats and skills. Also you can find the actual ‘die rolls’ and experience point breakdown, hidden just out of site, so you can see why you got to kick that last solider in the neck as you took him down.

This is your game! This is it! Go get it!!
