We got together at Electric Earth last night, and I was able to hand out some of the fabulous swag sent from Nanowrimo HQ.

Those who came were very pleased with their stickers and pens! It was so serendipitous that the swag hit my mailbox yesterday before I left to go writing. We had about 6 people show up, which was a lot of fun, even though we had to swap around power cables to keep everyone up and running. EE gets pretty busy at night, but they’re open till midnight which is a fine boon indeed. Everyone pretty much left just before 11, but I wasn’t going to leave until I hit my min 1667 words! It got a lot quieter as many other patrons left, and shortly after I got my daily word count up to 2019, yah! I even made it home only seconds after midnight.

Plus, my coworker gave me a ride to work this morning which meant I didn’t have to get up when my Hubby did, and get to work 1.5 hours early like I have the last few days, I feel positively peppy with the extra sleep.

Whoa, digging on the way cool things they’ve just added to LJ, 5 more icons! Phone posts! All manner of coolness coming down the line. I’m a day away from the expiration on my 6month account, which means I’m likely to be an unpaid user for about a day, heh. I’ve never regretted my LJ membership, and things just keep getting more stable, and way cooler. I’m impressed!

I wonder If I’m due to lose almost all my icons and have to replace them on Saturday when I get paid and get everything all figured out.

Wow, this month is rushing past!
