hey! We went crazy last weekend, and hung all sorts of things up. 4 little
asian kanji tiles with the seasons on them in our living room. Also, a
french poster ‘The Chat Noir’ over our mantel. We also put some picture frames with pictures on our mantel.

And! We put some oriental prints, one geisha and one leaping fish, in our pocket bathroom on the main level.

We also put 3 french/italian medium sized vintage posters in our kitchen. Our apartment looks so much different now, the blank walls are gone and our new asian-franco-illustration fusion is all over the walls. whee. Most of the main level has things on the wall, I should take some pictures to share.

That leaves the upstairs, we need to outfit things up there as well. I need to put all sorts of posters and original art up in my art room. I can’t wait to go in there and be surrounded by inspiring art.

Ooh, heading into the final stretch to halfway, and the end of issue two. (yes, small issues 8 pages a piece)

I got two pages thumbnailed last night, in not too long of time. It looks like we.ll have plenty of space for dialog, and some fun emotional poses. Aiming for an extreme forshortening in panel 2 of page 13. Hope to pull that off. This comic is really all about experimentation, and you can see that I’ve learned a lot in 3 years.

Hoping to have these(and 15 and 16) finished by the end of August.

Also, have officially decided to yes, participate in Nanowrimo this year. I have recently finished outlining my book from 2 years ago, and am heading into serious editing/rewriting as well.
