6:36 - finished with all 759 pages of HP7
Sunday, July 22nd, 2007whew.
whew.
woo, managed to get all the pages done… but then kinda burned out, so I made this cover… this is what you get after comic burnout(35 hours in 2 weekends is too much comicking!). however, there was a germ of usefulness in this idea!
God Bless Pete, he saved the day with his interpretation of my initial Cover design… Thankfully Kim and Pete didn't look at crazy when I suggested my original idea, they just helped me make it work, and Pete took it into Indesign for the win.
whew!
Losing track of what's what. Have been overarting according to Kim.
We(Pete and I for the whole length, joined by K&M on Friday and M on Saturday) did clock in around 20 hours of Comics last weekend, and then more arting Monday night and Tuesday was art night officially. Courting burnout, I feel it. Just need a little more effort to finish up these 4 pages, and that ambiguous cover.
Page 20 has been fixed in a few spots. Pages 21 and 23, are pretty much fixed up for just inks and panels, requiring a few more touchups before toning begins.
Page 22 tones done! Page 24 tones almost done, need to finish Phil's suit and do a layer of shading. Perhaps I should finish this one up first, to feel like I'm making progress.
I'm starting to realize that making comics is not a hobby, it's a lifestyle.
We need more copies of Ish 2, so we did another pass on the content and I took the time to fix the cover a bit. here's the old one.

Got a lot done yesterday, almost 10 hours of comicking.
Inks on page 24 done, pages 21-23 are now in manga studio templates, worked on cleaning up inks and started toning page 22. Today, I need to scan page 24, finish page 22, and pick one other page to attack. Deadline is the 8th! I still need cover ideas for issue 3!!!
