Yes, I had a great weekend. Unpacked some more, Pete came by on Saturday to help me switch the doors on the fridge to not swing open to the pantry, and also the lower cabinet by the stove so it doesn’t open towards the fridge. Feels good to bring order.

Man, tubing was fantastic! We went here: http://www.bobsriverside.com/ there were 21 of us, it’s only 15 to rent a tube, and they ferry you by van up the river about 5-10 min, and then you ride back down the Wisconsin river for 3-5 hours. It was amazing! We rented an extra tube and put drinks in it, and then tied ourselves to each other with ropes and lifevests. We stopped at several sandbars and just played around, I got to be a mothra dancer while Beth’s husband and their friend Nick played Godzilla and Mothra around a sand castle city.  Yay for margaritas and mojitos!

I only got a little bit toasted, looks like I’m wearing 2 red bracers. It’s not that painful though, I diagnose I’ll be just fine.

 I wore my big hat and pink dress shirt (the one that’s getting old by now) as a cover up and grabbed my blue sarong too. Haha, didn’t realize I’d never got the thing wet, it dyed my fingers and thighs bright blue! I only noticed this at the first sandbar, it looked like I’d be attacked by smurfs. By the end of the trip though, the blue finally came off of everywhere, and the sarong was finally washed out of excess indigo.

Would happily do that again!
